Mindful Practice.

I thought Patrick’s comment on my yesterday’s post on “Wholeness” was just a very powerful piece of writing.  So I want to bring it out from the obscurity of the comments section and underline it by it my today’s post.  Patrick wrote: “I like your words "mindful practice"! That would seem to be how we should approach our sexual play either alone or with others.
I am there not just to "bust my nuts" but to engage in a sacred act of my maleness. These are sacred acts because they are an integral part of what it means to be "male", especially a sexually enhanced male. I can use there experiences to lift me to a higher level of sexual awareness.
They are part of what it means to be wholly male, and wholeness is very close to holiness! I see the actors of our gay sexually explicit videos as the High Priests of our enhanced sexuality, performing for us the most sacred rites of our special sexually enhanced maleness. I do not worship 'cock', I only worship God, but I see my sexual activity as a sacred act.”  In turn, I have to say that I see in what Patrick says about the role of sexually explicit videos a beautiful and super-positive attitude to gay pornography.
